We’re happy to take away your old mattress or divan set (including your headboard) when we deliver your new one, making the whole process simple and stress-free.
When placing your order for a new mattress or divan set, simply tick the recycling option when adding the item to your basket. On delivery day, your old item must be ready for collection. If you’ve selected Standard Delivery, the item will need to be placed at the main entrance of your property. If you’ve selected Premium Delivery, our team can collect the old item from your room of choice. We will then ensure it is responsibly recycled or disposed of.
Please note that our recycling service is only available when you are purchasing a new mattress or divan set from Ready for Bed. We’re unfortunately unable to offer mattress or divan set collection as a standalone service, and we cannot collect items without a linked delivery order.

The recycling and removal service must be selected and purchased at the time of placing an order for a new mattress or divan set from Ready for Bed. The service is not available retrospectively and cannot be guaranteed if not added during checkout. The item collected must be on a like-for-like basis, meaning one mattress may only be collected when one mattress is being delivered, and one divan set may only be collected when one divan set is being delivered. All items must be fully dismantled where applicable and prepared for safe collection prior to the delivery team’s arrival. The customer is responsible for ensuring that safe and unobstructed access is provided to the collection point. Ready for Bed reserves the right to refuse collection where items are deemed unsafe to handle, including but not limited to items that are excessively soiled, contaminated, infested, or structurally unsafe. The recycling service is not available on all products and may not be offered in conjunction with certain orders. Customers are advised to contact our customer service team prior to purchase should they require clarification regarding eligibility for the recycling service.
